That Real Estate Brokers help people with two of life's fundamental needs: shelter and finances. Because of this, Dupuis Team challenges the real estate community to shift their thinking about real estate from that of a commodity transaction (consumer gives money in exchange for a good) to an Advisory profession (the broker provides professional guidance and direction to help a client get where they want to go - which requires deeper investment from both the broker and the client).  Shoes, candy, gizmos are commodities. These items can be bought and sold with relatively little thought by either the buyer or the seller. There's little risk if something goes wrong. In contrast, the purchase and sale of real estate requires thoughtful strategy and a deep understanding of real estate contracts, rules and marketing - there is much at stake if something goes wrong, and huge upside when a transaction goes well. The Real Estate Broker must understand the needs, goals, and desires of their client to guide a client where the client wants to go. Because of the need for a Real Estate Broker to understand their client's position and situation, and the need of the client to work with a Real Estate Broker who respects this role, a real estate purchase or sale cannot be approached as a commodity - the Real Estate Broker must take on the Advisor role. Advising requires a higher level of skill and professionalism. Dupuis Team is a team of Advisors. We have surrounded ourselves with the best real estate professionals - title/escrow, inspectors, attorneys, etc. to work collaboratively and help our clients develop a plan to get where they want to go. Team Leader Stephanie Dupuis is a CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) and has long been involved in real estate as has her family across several generations. Through mentoring of family and friends Stephanie became an investor and agent with a focus on single and multi-family residential units and development properties. Most clients come from referrals, and we are deeply committed to our clients, what is in their best interest and to follow-through during and after our time together. A referral is the best compliment that can be paid and we take great pride in taking care of our clients and their real estate needs.
